Well, in about a week we will have been in GA 4 months! It's hot (averaging about 95) and humid (averaging 35-85%), but beautiful and we're really loving it here. The community is great, and this church has really been a blessing to our family.
Garrett will be starting at a local High School on Aug 9 entering his sophomore year. He will be continuing in concert band and is also involved with youth worship band at the church.
Kelcey is staying VERY busy with babysitting. We seriously need to get that girl her own day-planner! She is working very hard at her home-school studies, and is on track to graduate after this year! She is also involved with youth worship with Garrett.
Connor has recently obtained his own email address in order to stay in touch with family & friends better since the move.
Josh has taken an intriguing interest in knitting recently...along with his sister. They're getting quite good. Both Connor & Josh are also working hard at their home-school studies.
We plan to have all of them start back at school the same week.....I can't wait! More than ready for a normal daily schedule since moving here.
Cailey has been keeping busy (that's a MAJOR understatement) with the new job. She's been developing teams, implementing some changes, directing camp, and leading transition into our new church facility just last week. On top of all that, she graduated with her Master's Degree in May! I'm so proud of her......to call her my life mate!
For myself, I've been trying to support Cailey however I can at the church, enjoying some much needed time with the kids, and really just taking time to discover what is next for me in ministry. While I'm in no hurry for that, I've been keeping busy reading, blogging, Facebooking, and trying to write my first book.
We are so blessed, and so very proud of our amazing kids! I have to say, I think this is probably the healthiest & happiest our family has been in years!
